about

Recorded live at The Audio Foundation, Auckland, New Zealand.

Originally self- released on limited edition c16 cassette.

Byron Coley in The Wire: "Keyboard sequences chitter and whoosh like bats diving around through each other's spit trails, while mechanical dogs provide commentary on their antics. Pretty whacked . . . "

TinyMixTapes: "Live documentation of Meek’s freakouts, recorded in Auckland . . . which loops like a worm into your cortex and controls your movements. Or maybe like those parasites in cat piss that make you like cats. Either way, some microbe is entering your nervous system and playing with the endings, until you lose all control to the vicious rituals of Meek live. Considering how shattered and busted the case in which this cassette came, I think it’s less a bad postal delivery person and more packaging-imitating-art. Nothing can control these insects from tunneling to your body…you may already be infected."
